| On Any Given Day
Liver is a vegetable
To the agitated fish
Cameras don’t work here, they never did
You finally got your wish
Crawfish are extinct
Radio is gone
The seedy five and dime store
Has a sale on lemons on
You’d better come and get them
They’re the last ones to be had
You get a free mesh hat
If you let them paint your hands
They really like to do that
It somehow turns them on
So be careful if you do it
Make sure you ask for Dawn
She’s a master at the cello
But you’ll never hear her play
She’s scared of her own shadow
On any given day
There’s a doctor in a mansion
He lives up in the hills
People rarely see him
But he’ll still sends out your bill
The sun it doesn’t shine here
It’s cloudy every day
There’s a panel of twelve people
That would like to keep it that way
Morale is at an all time low
It’s too hard to explain
This town will be forgotten
And viewed with great disdain
