| The Giant Snowman
The giant snowman
was a spur of the moment creation back in the days when we turned the back yard into a skating rink. After a few adult beverages, my neighbour and I decided to shovel the snow off of the roof into a pile and sculpt the damn thing into a giant snowman. Detailed with dumb-bell weights as eyes, a tire and garbage can hat and tree limbs for arms - it was truly a site to behold. It did not finish melting until May!
The snowman, upon completion stood approximately 15' tall and I'm guessing about 12' wide. Clearly visable from the road, it got it's fair share of stares and slowed traffic and eventually ended up in the local newspaper.
